Humboldt Park: Walk with FOTP in 2023
"Walk with Friends of the Park in 2023" kicks off in Humboldt Park. Join Executive Director Juanita Irizarry for two hours of strolling and conversation.
Humboldt Park is Juanita's life-long neighborhood park and the site of important advocacy concerns right now. She will provide some background about the park and its role in the neighborhood. At the very least, we will visit the site of the unpermitted construction at the National Museum of Puerto Rican Arts and Culture as well as ponder issues related to the orange tents of unhoused neighbors that dot the park.
Please note: The Boat House is on the *east* side of Humboldt Boulevard. If needed, there is additional car parking at the Field House, on the other side of the boulevard.
