In this retroactive photo series, Fotos del Barrio, photographer Elías Carmona Rivera shares a visual and audio narrative of his experience documenting the social, economic, and cultural forces that have shaped Humboldt Park. 

Elías Carmona is a Puerto Rican Chicago Photographer. He has exhibited his work in various galleries throughout Chicago and is the resident photographer at The National Museum of Puerto Rican Arts & Culture.
